There are times when the sweet tooth cravings hit and you just aren’t in the mood for a full on baking endeavor. And that very occasion is when no-bake recipes are the perfect choice. For example, these easy Dandy-Do Cookies.
Peanuts are mixed into a super simple caramel sauce and scooped on top of a Ritz cracker. Yup, they’re as tasty as they sound. If you’re in need of a quick treat, give this recipe a try!
The caramel sauce is made with a can of sweetened condensed milk, making the process super simple. Combine it with butter and sugar on the stove top until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened. Next, whisk in a little milk, vanilla, and a handful of chopped peanuts (or the nut of your choice!). Once that mixture is fully combined, spoon it onto the crackers and then let them cool.
The chewy topping compliments the crunchy crackers just perfectly. I personally love a sweet and salty combo and these Dany-Do’s strike just the right balance. The next time you’re in need of an easy dessert recipe, give this one a try. I’m sure you’re going to love it!
