The FBI Is Investigating The AT&T Service Outage As Possible CYBER ATTACK

Cell service for thousands of Americans, including AT&T customers, was restored after widespread network outages on Thursday.

The disruptions affected calls, texts, and internet access on mobile phones, prompting concerns about contacting emergency services.

The FBI, DHS, and FCC are investigating the outages, with AT&T reporting no signs of a cybersecurity incident. While AT&T experienced the most significant outages, Verizon and T-Mobile also reported disruptions, albeit on a smaller scale.

Authorities urged affected individuals to use landlines or contact emergency services through friends or family with different carriers.
